Google doodle Celebrates Football at London Olympics

Google doodle FootballGoogle has released its new doodle which allows anyone to play Football/Soccer online, an attempt to mark major Football events in London Olympics today.

The Doodle appears on Google’s Homepage worldwide and is built using HTML5. If you are unable to view it on Google Homepage, you can anytime view it on https://www.google.com/doodles/soccer-2012

Game Rules

Using either the keyboard or the mouse or even a combination of both, you can play the football doodle on your laptops or computers.

Here, the doodle features you as a goalkeeper that strives to prevent your opponent from scoring goals. While the score board that shows the number of goals defended by you lies on the top right of the doodle, the board that counts number of goals scored against you can be seen on the top left. The game’s over at three strikes.

Once the Game is over you are awarded Medals accordingly Bronze, Silver and Gold as shown in the Result Screen. So, try out the game on Google.com and let us know your scores
